It has been brought to my attention by Loviel that Seven Seas has picked up this novel for a January 2027 release date. Here is their announcement page.
I have no idea how other amateur translators have handled incidents like this, so in the interest of not stepping on any toes, I’m going to stop updating the story immediately. Sorry, everyone! I’m a little sad, but I’ll definitely be purchasing the official copy when it comes out!
I’ll take down the posted chapters in the next week or so.

Oh, didn’t know as they mostly picking up more popular titles… As for the resolves, most translators locking their translations with password and share it with a) readers they know and trust b) readers who have a proof of buying the original raws or putting the said translations on “protected” sides and providing links to them/ on their koffi sides or Google doc/word. Some just leaving them at they are, some delating, but mostly previous mention options. Hope I provide some solutions for You ( ＾▽＾)

Thanks for the advice! Since I haven’t finished the story and it’s not very popular on this site anyway, I think I’ll just take the chapters down to avoid any legal trouble.

Yeah….there are so many good stories out there that I couldn’t help picking up another one! I might take another look at ‘Happy Coffin Raising’ once I finish one or two of my current translations. The quality of the story wasn’t as good as I’d hoped, but if people are interested, I’d be open to continuing it!
